How to spot a phony Evangelical pastor.

under construction

Here are some of the most common things that make Evangelical pastors into false pastors:

The Epistle of Jude is commonly thought to have been written by God (inspiration) through the physical brother of Jesus, as Jesus had another brother called by some "James the Just" and Jude identifies himself as such. In this wonderful short letter Jude does a brilliant job at exposing false pastors. In other word if Jude was the brother of Jesus, having had the perfect shepherd to grow-up with, God himself in the flesh, Jesus, Jude is perfectly qualified to expose the direct opposite of the Good Shepherd, false pastors.

+) A False Gospel

+) Tithing - tithing, or giving one tenth of your money, is old testament. Even if you say it is your belief that Christians ought to give more, not less, by some cluster of scriptures you have bundled together yourself, Proverbs 19:17 says: "He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again." In other words "giving" to the work of God, does not necessarily mean giving money into your local pastor's hat or collection plate. Jude says false pastors

+) "Shall make merchandise of you." - Dating Agency churches:

QUOTE:

"But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not." 2 Peter 2:1-3.

Some evangelical style churches treat the women who go to the church long term as merchandise. By this I mean they are offered in marriage by manipulation, interference, and psychology, only to the men who tithe, submit to the nonsense taught by the spiritual dwarfs that masquerade in there as the pastors and elders, who covert the takings from the church. Women are often more socially alert than women, and know this is happening, but perhaps write it off as part of "the things we do for love". You will often see this in money orientated churches "having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.".

+) Diotrephes Churches -

QUOTE:

" I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.

Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.

Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God." 3 John 9-11

Diotrophese desired preeminence among the brethren. To put this in rather blunt layman's terms he wanted to be "Mr. Spiritual" in the church, and anyone outshining him was removed by all sorts of demonic psychology and unjust means. I have even seen it where Diotrephes type elders and pastors, who make mistakes, then make other "mistakes" on purpose, and almost everyone realises these are provocations, in order to subtly relegate their errors into acts of deliberacy, and thus "vindicate themselves" from their errors. In my opinion such practices are akin to witchcraft. The end result is a pastor who surrounds himself in subordinate second rate halfway men, fawning all over him daylong in order to "cash in" on the benefits of being a sycophant.  In carnal terms he is a spiritual mediocrity trying to look good, like a plain looking man, who surround himself in only ugly men, in order to stand out from the crowd.

+) Killing - so called killer Christians - "Love your enemies" to false pastors means "kill in wars" -

+) Adultery - by lax divorce laws - "Whoever divorces and marries again commits adultery" to false pastors means: "Here are 15 reasons you can divorce and remarry." -

+) Swearing oaths - "Above all things do not swear an oath" means to false pastors "You can swear an oath and it is okay".

+) Heavy shepherding - There is no doubt scripture says real pastors and elders and teachers should admonish and correct the flock. The sin of "heavy shepherding" is linked to many component parts such as being "busy bodies in other men's matters" and patronisation, intrusion and hypocrisy. One example may be that the pastor himself is widely read, but tells you that you cannot read books that expose the sins of cults and false religions yourself, as he starts poking about in your possessions at your home.
